सातफेरे (Satphere) - trust-first matchmaking. Last updated: 3 October 2026
The short version
- Satphere is for finding a life partner. We collect what you put in your profile, your photos and a verification selfie, your messages, and basic technical data - and use it to run the service and keep members safe.
- Your phone number is never shown to other members. Contact details typed in chat are hidden automatically.
- Only verified members see profiles. Your company and address show only after a match or an unlock; your exact income, birth time and birth place are never shown to anyone.
- We don't sell your personal data or use it for advertising.
- You can download a summary, correct or delete your data at any time; deleting your account removes your profile and photos.
- Questions or complaints: our Grievance Officer at help@7-phere.com.
1. Who we are
सातफेरे / Satphere (the mobile app and its website) is operated by TouchQube, India ("we", "us"). For your personal data we are the "Data Fiduciary" under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act"). Satphere is meant only for people looking for a marriage partner, and for their families helping them.

3. How we use it
- To run Satphere: create your account, show your profile to suitable verified members, suggest daily introductions, show how well you match (including "must-haves" and life-question alignment), deliver messages and notifications, and run the relationship journey tools you choose to use.
- To keep members safe: verify photos (and re-verify yearly or after a new main photo), hide contact details in chat, detect common scam patterns and duplicate photos, handle reports and blocks, send check-in reminders and, if you ask us to, alert your trusted contact when you miss a check-in or press the safety button.
- Payments and support: process purchases, answer your questions and complaints.
- To improve Satphere: understand, in aggregate, what helps people find a match (for example, which introductions lead to conversations). Private feedback and decline reasons are used only this way and are never shown to the other person.
- Legal obligations: keep records the law requires and respond to lawful requests.
Matching and introductions are automated: we rank profiles using the preferences and answers you and others give. This never decides anything with legal effect about you, and you can always browse and search yourself.
We process your data on the basis of your consent (which you give when you register and when you turn on optional features such as kundli or safety alerts) and, where the DPDP Act allows, for legitimate uses such as meeting legal obligations. You can withdraw consent at any time (see section 9); withdrawing may mean we can no longer provide some or all of the service.
4. AI: chat safety screening and the profile assistant
To protect members from scams, we may use an AI service provider, Anthropic, to review short excerpts of conversations that our automated checks flag as possibly suspicious (for example, requests for money), and a small sample of messages in new conversations. Before any excerpt is sent, phone numbers, email addresses, links and both members' names are removed, and no profile or account details are included. The provider processes the excerpt only to return a risk assessment to us and, under its commercial terms, does not use it to train its models. The result may show a safety tip to the person receiving the message or be reviewed by our safety team; it never blocks or deletes a message by itself.
Profile assistant (optional). If you choose to use the profile assistant, the details in your profile and what you type or say to it are sent to the same provider, Anthropic, so that it can reply and suggest entries for your profile. Your phone number and photos are not sent. Nothing it suggests is saved until you confirm it: it reads back what it noted, and saves only when you say it is right or press Save. When you speak instead of typing, your phone or browser turns the speech into text (some browsers use their maker's speech service for this); we receive only the text and never a recording. Assistant conversations are deleted after 30 days. So that it can rewrite your introduction and carry on from where you stopped, the assistant keeps short notes of what you told it about yourself and what you asked of it (for example how to address you); these are kept until you delete your account or ask us to remove them. If you send your bio-data or photos to our WhatsApp number (we invite you to when you sign up), the bio-data is read by the same AI provider, whether or not you have used the profile assistant, and what it states is saved into the profile fields you have not yet filled (never over what you have entered), where you can check and change it; photos you send are added to your profile, where you can remove them. If you connect your account to a 7-Phere consultant with their code, your bio-data and photos are sent to that consultant on WhatsApp once your basic details are complete. A consultant may also send us a family's bio-data on WhatsApp: it is read by the same AI provider and kept linked to that consultant, a profile is created for the mobile number they give (its owner takes it over by signing in with that number), and if you later sign up with the same name and date of birth we show you those details and save them to your profile only if you confirm they are yours. We ask for your agreement before you first use it.
5. Who can see what
| Information | Who sees it |
|---|---|
| Your mobile number | No other member, ever. Only you and our team. |
| Name, photos, age, city, education, occupation, other profile details | Other members whose photos are verified |
| Company and address | Only members you've matched with, or who have used an unlock on your profile |
| Exact income, birth time and place, safety plans, private feedback and decline reasons | Only you (and our team where needed for safety or support) |
| Life-question answers | Others see only how well you align; answers are shown side by side only inside a match, after both of you press "ready" in the family compatibility check |
| Kundli | Only a Guna Milan score and your Moon sign, nakshatra and manglik status, and only to members who have also added and shared a kundli |
| Messages | The people in the conversation. Family members see a family-room conversation only at the step you and the other person agree to. Our team may review messages that are reported or flagged for safety. |
| Verification badges and readiness signals | Other verified members (for example "Photo verified", "Answered the life questions"). We never publish a score. |
| Your trusted contact's details | Only you; we use the number only to send the alerts you asked for. |
6. Who we share it with
We don't sell or rent your personal data, and we don't share it for advertising. We share it only:
- With service providers who work for us under contracts that require them to protect it and use it only for us: cloud hosting and photo storage (Amazon Web Services, Mumbai region); OTP and alert messages by WhatsApp or SMS; payments (Razorpay); push notifications (Google Firebase Cloud Messaging); AI safety screening and the profile assistant (Anthropic, see section 4).
- With your trusted contact, only the meeting alert text you set up.
- When the law requires it, for example a lawful request from a court, police or government agency, or to protect someone's safety.
- If our business changes hands (merger or sale), with the new owner, who must keep this policy's protections.
7. Data outside India
We store your data in India. Some providers above (for example Anthropic, WhatsApp and Google) may process limited data outside India. We transfer data only as the DPDP Act allows and never to a country the Government of India has restricted.
8. How long we keep it
- While your account is open, we keep your data to provide the service. If you're inactive for 60 days your profile is hidden from search until you return.
- When you delete your account, we immediately remove your profile details, photos, verification selfie, life answers, kundli, trusted contacts and device tokens. Messages you already sent stay in the other person's conversation history under "Deleted user".
- Inactive accounts: if you don't use Satphere for 3 years, we'll delete your account, after telling you at least 48 hours beforehand.
- Trusted contact numbers are deleted automatically a week after the meeting.
- Records we must keep: payment and invoice records for 8 years (tax and company law); the IP address used to create a profile for one year after deletion (MeitY advisory for matrimonial sites); and reports and safety flags for up to 3 years to protect other members and meet legal requests.
9. Your rights and choices
Under the DPDP Act you can:
- See a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how we use it;
- Correct or update it (most of it directly in the app, under Profile);
- Delete it (Settings → Delete account), or ask us to erase specific data;
- Withdraw consent for optional features at any time (for example remove your kundli, turn off safety alerts);
- Nominate someone to exercise these rights if you die or become unable to;
- Complain to our Grievance Officer (section 14), and if you're not satisfied, to the Data Protection Board of India.
Write to help@7-phere.com from your registered number's account, or use the in-app support option. We respond as soon as we can and within the time the law allows (at most 90 days).
You can also control notifications, pause your profile ("Take a break"), hide or block members, and choose your app language.
10. Family members and profiles created for others
A parent, sibling, relative or friend can create or help manage a profile. They must have the candidate's consent before adding their details and photos. When the candidate takes over (claims) the profile, they decide what family members can do; chats stay private to the candidate. Family members can see the profile and suggestions they are allowed to, and the family room only at the step both sides agree to.
11. Age limits
Satphere is only for adults of legal marriageable age in India: women 18 or older and men 21 or older. We don't knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child's profile is on Satphere, report it and we'll remove it.
12. Security
We use encrypted connections, hash passwords, restrict our team's access to what their work needs, hide contact details in chats, block screenshots in the app where the phone allows, and can make photo links expire. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your personal data, we'll tell you and the Data Protection Board of India as the law requires.
13. Website cookies
The Satphere app doesn't use advertising cookies or trackers. Our website uses only cookies needed for it to work.
14. Grievance Officer
In line with the IT (Intermediary Guidelines) Rules, 2021 and the DPDP Act, you can reach our Grievance Officer at:

15. Changes to this policy
If we make important changes, we'll tell you in the app before they take effect and, where the law requires, ask for your consent again. The date at the top shows the latest version.
